Your club pays some people who provide us with services, for example coaches and administrators. But the main supervision of the club is undertaken by volunteers. If you willing and able to help please contact Paul Clements or Jill Goodier (details above). We need help in the following ways: Teams Each team needs a captain, a vice captain, a match report writer and a kitty/match fee administrator. Some teams may combine some of these roles. Committee The management committee comprises the chairman, the men’s club captain, the women’s club captain, the treasurer, the club secretary and the fixtures secretary. Subscriptions We are recruiting a paid administrator for subscriptions but this role requires overseeing by men’s and women’s subs secretaries. Umpires and coaches The club always needs a supply of umpires and coaches working to gain formal qualifications. Youth section The development of youth hockey requires coaching assistants on Sunday mornings and car drivers for away matches. Ad hoc We need participants in ad hoc task forces - eg fund raising for the water pitch replacement in 2009.
