Stephen Blackney

It is with great sadness that we report the sudden death of Stephen Blackney, the big SuperVets Australian, on 7th July.  Steve participated fully last season, but succumbed very quickly to a stroke which was disguising advanced pancreatic cancer.

Steve joined Hampstead in 1986 and played in the 2s and 3s before leaving to coach at Tulse Hill. During his time away he still played midweek games for the Vets and came on many of their foreign tours, accompanied by his wife Sally. We were very pleased when he returned to the club to play full-time SuperVets three seasons ago where he was a stalwart in defence.

He will be greatly missed on the field and off.

Paul Clements.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
